Helping Raytheon Retirees for Over 30 Years

Hughes History
In 1988 our firm was introduced to the human resources department at Hughes Aircraft. That introduction started the thirty-year relationship our firm has enjoyed with Hughes, Raytheon, and Boeing employees.
It was around that time that the The Hughes News released information about the OTP. This was a “golden handshake” designed to give employees incentive to retire. It worked. Thousands of Hughes employees who hadn’t planned to retire made a mad dash for the exits.
Les Atchley , President of Atchley Financial Group, was then asked to conduct a series of retirement planning seminars for all the employees who had elected to take the OTP. The Hughes employees that attended learned about the financial planning process, and many of them decided to hire Atchley Financial. Today Hughes, Raytheon, and Boeing retirees comprise the largest segment of Atchley Financial Group’s client base. Throughout the years, our team has worked to discover more financial planning techniques unique to aerospace retirees and have implemented them into our client’s financial plans.
We are eternally grateful to all of our aerospace clients who have trusted us for over thirty years. We look forward to continuing to build new relationships in the 21st century.
