I am a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, and I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA). I hold Series 7, 24, and 63 securities licenses. I am also a State of Idaho and California insurance agent. Doing our part to care for the folks in our local North Idaho community is important to my wife, Janet, and me. We are emeritus members of the Board of Directors for the Salvation Army’s Kroc Community Center and are happy, productive members of the Rotary Club of Coeur d’Alene. Janet and I are members of St. Pius X Catholic Church, and I serve on the church’s finance committee. Atchley Financial Group has worked closely with aerospace and other retirees since 1986. We help families build wealth so they can retire, enjoy life, help those who are less fortunate, and pass wealth to their heirs. I consider financial planning to be a business of intense love, and it is fun. I love to bowl when I find the time—my average is about 200—and I’ve bowled three perfect games, all in practice. I bowled a 299 in our Rotary league in Southern California. Janet and I love to hike and enjoy adventures around the world.

I am a proud member of the Coeur d'Alene Rotary Club and the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce. I have been previously named one of North Idaho’s Top 30 Under 40. I specialize in life planning and working with people for whom life has suddenly changed. I am especially drawn to helping women who are recently divorced or widowed. My great joy is helping all our clients build wealth so they can retire with the confidence that they will enjoy the retirement they deserve.
I enjoy spending time with Mike, our two kids (Brayden and Emily), and our many cats. With my family, I like to travel, conquer escape rooms and watch Emily compete with her soccer club. As a graduate of the University of Michigan, you can find me cheering on the Wolverines during college football season – Go blue!

Chief Operating Officer
I have been in the financial services industry since 1997 and serve as AFG’s Chief Financial Officer. I continue to serve as an emeritus board member for the Salvation Army’s Kroc Community Center, and I am actively involved in the Rotary Club of Coeur d’Alene. I have served as Board Chairman for several non-profits over the years. I graduated from USC, where I was president of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. I became a sixth-grade grade teacher at Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena. I created the school’s drill team, which won three straight competitions at Disneyland against more than eighty teams.
I grew up in a family-owned, multi-generational wholesale jewelry business based in Los Angeles. My father hired me to sell to the finer stores in the US, including Tiffany’s in New York, C.D. Peacock’s in Chicago, Gump’s and Shreve’s in San Francisco, and many others. After selling for my father for years, I built my own jewelry business, catering to a private clientele in Southern California. When we moved to Coeur d’Alene in 2005, I became a full-time principal of Atchley Financial Group.
I love watching our four grandchildren become wonderful people. I also adore our four cats, but I’m partial to Louie, our sassy Siamese. Les and I enjoy hiking and traveling and doing all we can to help make the world a better place.

My husband and I enjoy trying new recipes cooking and baking while spending time together with our son Vincent and Maltipoo Ted.

When I am not working, I enjoy time to myself to read and write. In the summer, I enjoy playing tennis with my friends, hiking Tubbs Hill, and going out on the lake. We try not to hibernate over the winter and look forward to learning how to snowboard and take advantage of the great outdoors North Idaho has to offer!
