I have been in the financial services industry since 1997 and serve as AFG’s Chief Financial Officer. I continue to serve as an emeritus board member for the Salvation Army’s Kroc Community Center, and I am actively involved in the Rotary Club of Coeur d’Alene. I have served as Board Chairman for several non-profits over the years. I graduated from USC, where I was president of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. I became a sixth-grade grade teacher at Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena. I created the school’s drill team, which won three straight competitions at Disneyland against more than eighty teams.
I grew up in a family-owned, multi-generational wholesale jewelry business based in Los Angeles. My father hired me to sell to the finer stores in the US, including Tiffany’s in New York, C.D. Peacock’s in Chicago, Gump’s and Shreve’s in San Francisco, and many others. After selling for my father for years, I built my own jewelry business, catering to a private clientele in Southern California. When we moved to Coeur d’Alene in 2005, I became a full-time principal of Atchley Financial Group.
I love watching our four grandchildren become wonderful people. I also adore our four cats, but I’m partial to Louie, our sassy Siamese. Les and I enjoy hiking and traveling and doing all we can to help make the world a better place.
